Bonjour,

Je m’appelle Laura, j’ai 27 ans et suis artiste dessinatrice. Cela fait maintenant trois années que je suis diplômée de l’Ecole nationale supérieure des Arts Décoratifs de Paris en Image Imprimée (gravure, sérigraphie,illustration). Je réalise des résidences artistiques en France et divers projets de dessin.

Propositions artistiques en échange de la résidence (oeuvres, cours, ateliers, dîner, concert...) : En échange je propose de réaliser un portrait au crayon des hôtes de la maison ou de réaliser 5h de cours de dessins d'observation. Si l'hôte a une demande particulière, nous pouvons en discuter ensemble.

Describe your projects for a residence : Je travaille actuellement sur l'illustration du livre "Dans la dèche à Paris et à Londres" de George Orwell. J'ai passé ces derniers mois à chercher de la documentation photographique des années 20 et 30 (Paris et Londres) afin d'approfondir ce travail. Je souhaiterais donc commencer à illustrer le livre cet été

Description of the type of workspace needed (office, studio, rehearsal space…) : Idéalement mon travail nécessitera une table ainsi qu'un mur où je peux coller/punaiser les photographies et dessin afin d'organiser le découpage des différents passages du livre que je souhaite illustrer.

    My painting is usually abstract, but at times I choose to do landscapes, portraits, etc. I'm American and French; I live in Paris. My painting formats range from very small to 59x76.37 inches. Américaine d'origine, je peins à l'huile ou à l'acrylique dans un style abstrait, mais aussi dans un style plus figuratif pour des paysages, des portraits, etc. J'habite à Paris. J'ai de petits formats et aussi de grands formats, le plus grand de150x194 cm.
