Inspiring environment – Visual arts

We are a designer duo that has been working independently for more than 30 years under the name Vormstof www.vormstof.com
We are currently investigating how we can work more sustainably with ceramic products, which means that we more often seek inspiration outside our own studio. There are currently two projects underway (not yet visible on the website) for which we are looking for used ceramic products and natural raw materials.

Propositions artistiques en échange de la résidence (oeuvres, cours, ateliers, dîner, concert...) : Some of the products that are ultimately manufactured with the materials and inspiration found in your environment will be returned to you after finishing in our own studio in the Netherlands. It is also possible that you will receive a work of your choice from our collection. Or we can organize a workshop for a group of enthusiasts on a skill that interests you.
Description environment are you looking for ( nature, urban, other…) : We are looking for a natural environment that does not immediately resemble our environment. We estimate whether there is much in the area that we need for our project. It is also very healthy for us to change environments for the necessary inspiration and the progress of the projects we are working on. We are very enthusiastic people and like to share our passion.
Describe your projects for a residence : We are currently studying which plants and trees can cause a chemical reaction regarding color and structure. All this to increase the 'recycle and reuse' concept in the manufacture of products. In our concepts we try to achieve 'awareness' among the public regarding the power in nature, past and present.

Description of the type of workspace needed (office, studio, rehearsal space…) : Mainly a place where we can sleep. We do the work outside in nature or in the city. Ultimately, we depend on our tools in our own workshop to complete the job
