Marta and Adam – an artistic duo

Hello! It’s Marta and Adam- we are young couple of artists from Poznań, Poland. Graduated at the same art university and the same major – printmaking. Even though our art journey started with a traditional graphic techniques such as metal printing, lithography, silkscreen and our favorite linocut, we loved to try other medias. Now our interests now are widely spreaded: jewelry, sculptures, cloths, furniture, mosaic and ceramics, small architecture, murals, land art, music, film and animation.
Both of us find joy in re-using, re-cycling and renovating things. Basically giving a new life and purpose to things that others might have missed. For example Adam constructed a huge fox sculpture from metal scraps and trash, while Marta cut masks from wood leftovers and make mosaic from the crushed colorful tiles she found during her walks. Encouraging others to follow the path of zero waste we lead a workshops: Adam – furniture up-cycling and Marta bringing a new life to clothes by dying them with natural ingredients. Since they start to live together, even the leftover paper that suppose to end up in trash is turned into art by making paper-mache sculptures.

We play several music instruments and we will be happy to jam together!

Propositions artistiques en échange de la résidence (oeuvres, cours, ateliers, dîner, concert...) : We have a gauntlet of skills: building, renovating, painting (also murals), jewellery, mozaic, stained glass (Tiffani method), sculpting, graphic (digital and traditional - woodcut, linocut etc.). We are familiar with doing workshops in many of those fields and we like to share our knowledge. In exchange for the residence we will gladly leave you some art that we made during our stay as well.
Description environment are you looking for ( nature, urban, other…) : Mostly nature, but open for urban also.

Description of the type of workspace needed (office, studio, rehearsal space…) : small studio/room were we can create without stress of destroying something precious - will be welcome If not, we will surely find a way to be satisfied

    Artiste peintre, auteur de livres pour enfants (et de la poésie) + illustrations, j'ai décidé de m'inscrire à Lyon Lumière II pour reprendre les cours. J'ai été admis, mais mon profil atypique (l'art, un petit chien, mon choix de reprendre les études ..) ne plaît pas forcément à des usagers classiques. Alors je me suis dit, le "zèbre à carreaux" devrait rejoindre les autres zèbres et je suis tombée sur le site Host an artist. Que puis-je offrir à la personne qui m'hébergera ? Je participe volontiers aux factures (Edf, eau et toute sorte de dépense, genre courses etc... à envisager un petit loyer, puisque je vais travailler: mon Edt couvre que 12h par semaine..); je resterai que 10 mois (jusqu'à la fin du mois de juin) et serais ravie de tomber sur d'autres convives qui ne supportent plus les gens qui se contentent d'appriories sans vouloir connaître la personne un peu plus créative que la moyenne... bref.. je suis joyeuse de manière générale, active, adore même faire les carreaux ou le ménage, sortir le chien, cuisiner, participer à la vie quotidienne, ah oui, je suis une excellente jardinière ... :) si cela vous tente, contactez-moi au 06 24 01 25 70 ou par mail: annadaisy@hotmail.com ps: la personne qui m'hébergera, aura un ou même super portraits de son chien ou de son chat, même de l'oiseau!!:)
