I am Siméon MB, I am a poet and I am looking for a writing space to begin a first collection of poetry, “Chant à quatre voix (provisional title)”.

I’m looking for a calm place where I can start structuring things, putting my texts together, and putting them into shape. A place that I could live in for a while, around which I can get some fresh air at times. And perhaps also have an outside perspective.

In exchange for the residency, I offer a collection of poems in the form of a fanzine, a reading or a sound piece.

Propositions artistiques en échange de la résidence (oeuvres, cours, ateliers, dîner, concert...) : I like to keep the format of the “residency release” loose, but it could be a performed reading, a sound piece or a fanzine. Or even a writing workshop for a small group of people. We could also discuss it together during the residency.
Description environment are you looking for ( nature, urban, other…) : For this residence, I am looking for a rather natural environment, to be able to enjoy the surroundings. But it may be in a village or a town. A region with a particular history, a working, peasant or migration-related memory could resonate well with my texts.
Describe your projects for a residence : After reading poems in several open scenes and taking part in collective writing projects, it's time for me to take flight with this solo project! I have accumulated a number of texts over the years. The objective of this residency is to put them into shape, and/or to write new texts through the creation of a collection. The provisional title “Song with four voices” evokes the idea of ​​being inhabited by the voices of others, voices sometimes in harmony, or on the contrary dissonant.
Description of the type of workspace needed (office, studio, rehearsal space…) : I have fairly simple needs: - a solo room, quiet and heated - a desk or workspace with table, chair, electrical outlets and wifi preferably (not obligatory) - easy-access toilets and showers Easy access to the outdoors (walks, etc.)
