Bonjour je m’appele David et je suis artiste pratiquant de l’art brut.

J’aimerais voyager en france et à l’étranger ,découvrir de nouvelle culture et approfondir mes connaissances artisitique.

Je suis principalement intéréssé par la nature, j’aimerais voir de grand espace (parc naturel) ,prendre des photos et peindre ce que je ressens, passez des moments de découverte et de ressourcement.

I would like to travel in France and abroad, discover new culture and deepen my artistic knowledge.

I am mainly interested in nature, I would like to see large space (natural park), take pictures and paint what I feel, spend moments of discovery and healing.

Description environment are you looking for ( nature, urban, other…) : Je souhaiterais un lieu principalement calme ,entouré de nature pour changer de mon environnement habituel ,mais ne me ferme pas à la ville. I would like a mostly quiet place, surrounded by nature to change from my usual environment, but don’t close me to the city.
Describe your projects for a residence : J'aimerais approfondir ma pratique dans un environnement inconnue ,rencontré de nouveau artiste et dans la mesure du possible faire une exposition solo. I would like to deepen my practice in an unknown environment, meet new artist and as far as possible make a solo exhibition.

Description of the type of workspace needed (office, studio, rehearsal space…) : Pour travailler j'ai besoin d'un certain espace vide ,je saurais m'adapter bien sur mais l'idéal serait une pièce vide ,une grange ou un garage par exemple ,un endroit ou je peux observer l'extérieur (regarder et écouter) pendant que je peint et pourquoi pas écrire aussi(cela me vient par moment). To work I need a certain empty space, I could adapt of course but the ideal would be an empty room, a barn or a garage for example, a place where I can observe the outside (look and listen) while I paint and why not write also(this comes to me at times).

    Visual artist, traveling between Paris and Brussels most of the year, I like to escape from the urban environment periodically, discover new horizons, people, always with a project(s) in mind to carry out, those who have not found the time or space in the workshop, those who will arise from encounters, from the environment.. Last year I had the opportunity to stay in Mondrepuis in the North of France via HostAnArtist, a superb human and artistic experience that I would like to relive this year. Currently, I am working on different sculpture projects, some in ceramic, others using manufactured materials like tape or confetti. I'm looking for a space to stay for one or two weeks, a room is enough, a workshop is a plus, but not obligatory if it is possible to work outdoors.     My painting is usually abstract, but at times I choose to do landscapes, portraits, etc. I'm American and French; I live in Paris. My painting formats range from very small to 59x76.37 inches. Américaine d'origine, je peins à l'huile ou à l'acrylique dans un style abstrait, mais aussi dans un style plus figuratif pour des paysages, des portraits, etc. J'habite à Paris. J'ai de petits formats et aussi de grands formats, le plus grand de150x194 cm.
