LES SALONS DE CALLIOPE – Nature

C’est parce que nous croyons que les valeurs exprimées par la musique jouée à son meilleur niveau sont destinées à tous que nous avons créé l’association, les salons de Calliope. En proposant des programmes adaptés à la configuration de salon, nous souhaitons promouvoir la musique classique, l’art lyrique et plus particulièrement la musique de chambre afin de faciliter la rencontre des artistes avec leur public et leur permettre d’en vivre.

Description of the area and neighborhood : Nous, c'est à dire Sarah, Anne et Nicolas, nous mettons à disposition notre maison, notre piano (FORSTER 1979 demie queue), notre jardin et nous proposons d'héberger des artistes pendant une durée max de 1 semaine pour préparer leur projet musical.
Facilities (wifi, phone..) : Wifi, Chambre sdb/WC privé, Piano FORSTER demie queue, parking privé, terrasse...nous contacter pour plus d'information. Fumeurs oui mais dehors.

Wish in exchange for the hosting (ie:a work of art, an original work, singing or painting lessons, a private concert or any other art form) : Tous les musiciens professionnels, seuls ou en groupe qui essayent d'en vivre ou qui en vivent sont les bienvenus. Nous ne demandons pas de loyer, uniquement une participation financière pour les repas partagés et un récital de fin de résidence pour notre public habituel. Discutons-en.
Favourite artistic domains : Musique acoustique de préférence, piano, voix, cordes, flûte .... à dominante classique de préférence.

    In a master’s house with its 4-hectare park, on the edge of Livradois and just 20 minutes from Clermont-Ferrand (Auvergne) —or only a few minutes from Vertaizon train station—come and flourish in a setting ideal for meditation and creation.

    The main materials available include wood, leaves, grass, hay (seasonal), soil (ready to dig!), stones, and occasionally various discarded items. The garden and park are perfect for sculptural creations. A well-equipped workshop allows for cutting, sawing, gluing, and welding. Barns (unheated) provide space for your work. A guest room or bed and breakfast accommodation will be available, depending on availability.

    I offer to welcome you to my home which is still under construction but habitable! The space available is enough to set up a quiet working place for your creations. I am also a creator and I am currently looking for new artistic encounters, which can inspire me in this new home which needs to be recharged with good vibrations... Shared kitchen and bathroom too, I just ask that we agree so that everyone feels at ease and comfortable. In France for 13 years, I am of Italian origin and I studied fine arts in Milan. I create jewelry and I make paintings...solar and bear, I am attentive and respectful of everyone's needs for solitude or sharing 😉 Rivers, sea and wild nature are not far away.
