Good morning ! My name is Pilo, I’m Argentinian and I’ve been living in Europe since 2019. I’m a creative, always ready to learn and explore new techniques, and I love collaborating with other people. Currently I am focusing on ceramics, more sculpture than functional pottery. I also draw with my typewriter, I do photography, linocutting and cyanotype, among other things. I would be happy to share my knowledge and create together. 🙂 I travel in my little van with my kitty. I love being in nature and working in the garden. I’m vegan!

Describe your projects for a residence : I have two projects that I would like to work on. The first is entitled “Life and the Earth” and features wild animals from the region in order to promote the protection of biodiversity and encourage respect for nature, which has always nourished my inspiration. My creations are an invitation to perceive the beauty and love of the world, a powerful reminder of the importance of a conscious presence in the face of the wonders that surround us. It will be the land of the territory that will support and give substance to this message, so there is also an exploration of clay bodies by mixing the land from the place of residence. The second project is called “Ceres”, the name echoes the word “seres” (beings) in Spanish. This is a series of incense burners inspired by Japanese mythology, nature and animation. A collaboration with multidisciplinary artist Ana Yamila Palatnik, who lives in New Zealand. She created the genesis in the form of digital drawings, developed thanks to 3D explorations assisted by artificial intelligence, which I interpret in the clay by translating the flat lines present. We've created three characters so far and we're ready to give birth to many more.

Description of the type of workspace needed (office, studio, rehearsal space…) : A small studio is enough, I need good light. I can cook outside with bricks at high temperatures in a temporary oven.

    Je travaille dans le son en tant qu'ingenieur du son pour la musique et le spectacle mais je fait egalement du field recording. Je cherche regulieremnt de nouveau lieu ou poser mes micros afin de capturer de nouveaux sons et en faire des creations originale
