Textile artist looking for an urban residency – upcycling workshops and art with textile waste – Visual arts

I’m a textile artist and cultural facilitator. I work with textile waste from the fashion industry. I turn old clothes and fabric into art pieces, temporary installations and creative workshops. I am looking for a place to stay and work for a few weeks. My dates are flexible and depend on availability. I like to share skills, listen to local stories and learn from the place and the people. If you are interested, please send me a message. I will be happy to share my portfolio and more information in private.

Propositions artistiques en échange de la résidence (oeuvres, cours, ateliers, dîner, concert...) : - A hands-on upcycling workshop for adults. No experience needed. - A temporary art piece made for your space or your neighborhood, with textile waste from the area. - A small exhibition or open day to share the results with your neighbors.
Description environment are you looking for ( nature, urban, other…) : I'm looking for a city or a town. I like urban spaces because I feel more connected to people, culture and local projects.
Describe your projects for a residence : During my stay, I want to work with local textile waste (old clothes, fabric leftovers) and create new art pieces. I also want to give a workshop for adults and share the results with the neighbors in a small exhibition or open day. I'm also open to join events about circular economy, festivals or small, private gatherings. I'm open to ideas and to working together with the host and the community.
Description of the type of workspace needed (office, studio, rehearsal space…) : A confortable bright space with good natural light and a table to cut and sew. I work by hand and I do not use machines. The space should be dry and free of humidity, to keep the fabrics in good condition. I would also like to have access to a kitchen to cook my own meals.
