Story of an ancestor who left a trace – Writing

My project aims to bring to life a piece of history and above all a character who marked his time between Isère & Lyon and linked to my ancestors. Although my subject is rooted in this region, I can work away from these two places thanks to my notes, books and online resources and I would be delighted to share my artistic or multicultural knowledge.

Description environment are you looking for ( nature, urban, other…) : I am looking for a quiet creative place, surrounded by nature or nearby, where only the song of birds and the light of the sun punctuate my days. Independent accommodation (with an internet connection) would be ideal, in order to easily move from rest space to writing, without constraints. Due to a disability, I prefer a place without stairs, without significant differences in height and with a healthy atmosphere. A desk, something to display my research and a window with a view would help me structure my ideas, because visual art and writing are at the heart of my creative process.
Describe your projects for a residence : Franco-Canadian Artist-Author, I am looking for a residency that would allow me to take the time to conduct my research, structure the broad outlines of my story, decide on its definitive style and, if the conditions are right, start writing it.

Description of the type of workspace needed (office, studio, rehearsal space…) : a desk large enough to spread out, a space to display my notes, place my sources/books and an internet connection for my research. A preferably quiet space far from the hustle and bustle but where I could easily join humans to socialize and exchange.
