Violinist looking for residency – Music

Bonjour, Hello!

I am a violinist (with a recently gained bachelor of music) and visual artist from Montana, USA. I will soon start studying in 5ème Division of music performance for the violin at the École Normale de Musique de Paris, but I have not yet found a place to stay. I am hoping for a temporary place to sleep, practice if possible, and paint in Paris while I continue to look for an appartment. I am fluent in French and love sharing meals and learning about the lives and cultures of others.

Propositions artistiques en échange de la résidence (oeuvres, cours, ateliers, dîner, concert...) : In exchange for the residence, I propose original art (see examples of my work at https://www.facebook.com/kelaiah.horat.art/), a private concert, violin lessons, and/or homemade food as I love to cook. Any combination of the above sera avec grande plaisir. :)
Description environment are you looking for ( nature, urban, other…) : I am seeking any place in Paris that is within 45 minutes of commute to the 17ème Arrondissement.
Describe your projects for a residence : I have a primary project of continuing my classical violin studies at the École Normale de Musique de Paris, but I also hope to be participating in jazz ensembles, folk groups, and collaborations with poets. Aside from that, I am constantly creating visual art and have a current project of "portraits du métro" in which I sketch strangers on the subway in a surrealistic manner, as an inquiry into how we treat the people we cross on a daily basis yet with whom do not truly interact. This will explore the fragillity of humans and human relations.
Description of the type of workspace needed (office, studio, rehearsal space…) : I need a place to sleep, preferably a private room in order to enable peaceful practice.

Indeed, a large number of elderly, frail or hospitalized people are dependent on the place where they live and seek treatment; in this case, it is up to musicians to travel to them. Taking the principle of an orchestral tour, we are a traveling ensemble of young musicians who travel around France to give concerts in associative EHPADS, mainly. We want to treat these places in the same way as the most beautiful concert halls, so we hold classical music concerts with ensembles of variable geometry.
