Hello , I am a British painter who lives in the Western Isles of Scotland . I paint landscapes and love to make my own colours sourced from the landscape itself . I am always interested in finding inspiration in different surroundings and would also like to broaden my collection of earth pigments . I would like to find a place where the possibility of painting with oils during my stay would be acceptable

Description environment are you looking for ( nature, urban, other…) : I am particularly drawn to the sea , we live on an island so the water features heavily in my work. I would also like to find a residence amongst the trees , a forest setting or similar would be lovely , we have few trees here on the islands .
Describe your projects for a residence : I would like to source coloured pigments for use in paintings made whilst on the residence

    Currently living in Singapore, I have been trying to balance the time I spend on art projects and the time I spend at work. Until recently a decision is made to take a year (at least) off to concentrate on art projects on my heart for a long long time. Besides ad hoc portrait works to entertain my friends and friends of friends, I was a published travel writer and columnist. Although now my magazine is digitalised, I keep writing. I have lived in France for a lot of years so I can fluently communicate in French.

    Bonjour, Je suis étudiante aux beaux arts à bourges en troisième année. Passant mon diplôme en Juin et faisant une année de césure juste après je suis à la recherche d'une résidence artiste pouvant me permettre d'approfondir mon travail. Pendant un ans je serais à la recherche d'apprentissage, de découverte, de partage... il y a tellement de choses que je ne connais pas encore que j'ai envie de découvrir. Je ne suis pas encore artiste mais j'aspire à ce statut, ce qui me donne l'envie de découvrir sur moi-même sur vous et sur tout ses lieux. Ma pratique artiste se trouve aussi bien plastique que visuel: Céramique, photographie, dessins, vidéos, performance, écriture...
