Water & Nature Art – Fine Arts
Fine Arts - Melbourne (Australia) - 04/03/2025Hello! I co-create art with water bodies using crystallography, photography, and pencil drawings. This approach brings together art, science, mindfulness, and an interest in practical ways to work in partnership with nature. I love cats, and animals in general, which I sometimes draw, and write/research about, and I'm a very amateur wildlife photographer. If you like what I do, this is a great way to support. 🙂 Feel free to be in touch if you have any questions.

Visual Artist Looking For An Artistic Residency – Visual Arts
Visual arts - JUVIGNAC (France) - 04/04/2025Hello, My name is Manon, I am 28 years old. I am a visual artist and poet. I work with painting, drawing, digital collage and writing to create visual narratives of new possible and existing worlds. My work breaks binary oppositions such as nature/culture, human/non-human, past/future which I consider co-inhabiting the same experience of the world. I explore these tensions through a surrealist aesthetic, placing disturbing characters in everyday settings, both familiar and strange. I draw inspiration from symbols from the history of art as much as from my own memory, to enrich the symbolisms. I deal in particular with themes such as leisure, vacations and the apocalypse. My approach, nourished by ecofeminism, seeks to question our lifestyles and our connection to living things, between the desire to escape and the need for reconnection. Being welcomed into your home to create would be a great opportunity to deepen this research in a lively and warm setting, conducive to exchanges. Looking forward to meeting you soon, Manon

Musician / Photographer / Abstract Drawings – Music
Music - Berlin (Germany) - 07/04/2025I am a multidisciplinary artist living in Berlin. As a musician, I produce music between electronic space Pop, modern chanson and cinematic easy listening. I sing, play guitar and other instruments, compose, arrange, produce and do the cover artwork I have released 5 album and played in several bands. As a photographer, I specialise in timeless, experimental portraits and abstract textures in nature. Ladies Balakai Searching Collaborations – Music
Music - La Baussaine (France) - 05/05/2025Ladies Balakai is a musical duo born from the improbable but perfect meeting between Fiona Mclaughlin, English flautist, and Déborah Colucci, French harpist. It all starts simply: Straight from across the Channel, Fiona finds Déborah on the networks, offers her a cup of tee and some cakes, love at first sight is immediate. From this alchemy a unique musical universe is born, where neo-classical influences meet the captivating rhythms of the Balkans, creating vibrant and deeply original compositions. But Ladies Balakai doesn't stop there. The duo is embarking on an ambitious project: meeting women musicians around the world. Together, they will unite their sensibilities and their musical cultures to create new works, while highlighting the essential place of women in the professional musical environment. Ladies Balakai is much more than a duo. It is a human and artistic adventure, a celebration of diversity and collective creation, carried by two visionary and feminist artists determined to reinvent musical boundaries. Writer Seeking Residency – Writing
Writing - Roubaix (France) - 08/05/2025I will soon be fifty-five, I have been writing for a few months. A rather short first novel, finished or almost, which still requires one or two rereadings. Another, much longer, that I'm starting - between research on the premises and first draft. I have always read, a lot. Some characters have always been with me. There are often brothers and sisters: Franny and Zooey at Salinger, Ada and Van Veen at Nabokov, Franny and John at Irving. There are lost men, grandiose women (almost all of them!), adults who are still children or children who do not yet know what awaits them. I started writing rather late, but I now write every day and today I would have a hard time doing without it. Iowa Bob, the weightlifting grandfather in The New Hampshire Hotel by John Irving, gives his secret: “You’ve got to get obsessed and stay obsessed”. I thought writing was a matter of talent (which I didn't have) and discipline; Perhaps, in reality, it’s just a matter of really wanting it – to the point of obsession.
