Recherche Résidence Pour L’écriture D’un Premier RomanWriting - Pantin (France) - 29/04/2019Bonjour, Je porte un projet de roman depuis plusieurs années et je suis à la recherche d'un lieu (et d'un temps, cet été si possible) pour m'y consacrer totalement. Plusieurs choses sont en place déjà, une sorte de dispositif mental du roman, ainsi que certains passages. Mais j'aurais besoin d'un vrai temps d'immersion pour lancer l'écriture et lui permettre d'aboutir à quelque chose de conséquent. Je serais vraiment très heureuse d'investir le lieu que vous offrez, de participer à la vie de la maison, d'échanger avec vous, de partager du temps ensemble, de vous aider sur certaines tâches si nécessaire. Je suis, en parallèle de ce projet d'écriture, doctorante en philosophie de l'art et je débute une pratique de critique d'art. J'échangerai sur mon projet d'écriture avec plaisir. I'm a playwright and theatermaker who runs a theater company called Agile Rascal Theatre. We create new works with environmental themes and tour them on our bicycles. Currently we have done a coast-to-coast tour of the United States, as well as tours of Montana and Florida. For each project we bring professional artists from all over the country to create a new work that explores the environmental themes of that region, and then tours them on bicycle. It's part performance, part adventure art, part environmental awareness campaign.

I have co-founded the Collectif Warrior Poets and published the book in Fresh together with Sarah Demart ‘Create in Postcolony 2010-15. Belgo-Congolese voices and dissidences’ (Ed. BOZAR/Africalia, 2016). I write write, among others, for Café Congo. I am looking for a quiet room | studio at the sea or in the countryside to write a new projet on Art-ivismes of Africa and Diasporas. I would like to develop a reflection on how to create an open space for meeting and dialogue around the relationship between art and activism, especially politics. I would like to testimony how contemporary artists and its diasporas, reclaim the resistance and political struggles from yesterday to today. The mediums of music (jam), visual (photos, cinema, videos), poetics (slam, urban expressions) will be privileged to question a youth in search of emancipation and existential renewal.
