Autre - Quimper (France) - 08/01/2023J’ai parcouru près de 15 000 kilomètres de l’Arctique à la Méditerranée, avec pour toute mission : collecter des informations sur les alternatives économiques et la responsabilité sociale, ce, du point de vue des individus et des entreprises. Un projet à la croisée du journalisme et de l’art, financé par mes soins et qui a duré quatre ans. Le résultat : cinquante interviews, une quantité importante d’informations, de films et de photos. Autant d’instantanés d’un monde en changement. Ces informations doivent être mises en forme et post-produites afin d’être publiées. La pandémie et ses restrictions diverses ont sérieusement remis en question la faisabilité de ce projet, tant du point de vue financier que logistique. C’est la raison pour laquelle, de façon symbolique, je souhaite mettre un point final - là où finit la terre 😉 à un projet et à un voyage au très long cours. Je recherche donc une résidence pour une durée de trois mois dans le Finistère afin de finaliser la production des histoires collectées au cours de mes voyages.

Artist-in-Science-Residence 2023 – AutreAutre - Darmstadt (Allemagne) - 17/01/2023„Kultur einer Digitalstadt e.V." is once again inviting applications for three artist-in-science residencies for artists of all disciplines in January 2023. Applications can be submitted until 23.03.2023. Applications can be submitted until 23.03.2023. A total of three 6-week fellowships will be held between May and October 2023. The studio residency at the Rosenhöhe in Darmstadt is linked to cooperation with one of the three cooperating research institutions. The cooperation partners are the Hessian Centre for Artificial Intelligence (hessian.AI), the GSI Helmholtz Centre for Heavy Ion Research and the European Space Operations Centre (ESOC). The scholarship holders have their own studio at Rosenhöhe and - depending on the possibilities of the cooperating institute - a workplace at the research institutions. The aims of the programme are: To provide artists with access to institutions, to promote sustainable exchange between science and art, to further develop independent artistic research, and to present and publish the projects carried out during the AiSR. Une écrivain Et Une Illustratrice Anglophone – ÉcritureÉcriture - Paris (France) - 24/01/2023Aoibheann McCann et Andi Ipaktchi écrivent et jouent de la comédie ensemble depuis 2019. Le duo irlandais et américain s'est rencontré pendants leurs résidence au Tyrone Guthrie Centre for the Arts à Annaghmakerigg, Irlande en 2019. Leur travail a été présélectionné pour les Hammond Comedy Awards (Royaume-Uni) de 2023. Leur comédie "RETREAT" raconte l'histoire d'une maison internationale d'artistes vivant dans une résidence artistique au milieu de l'Irlande rurale.. Les six premiers épisodes de la série (Season 1) RETREAT est arrivé en tête du classement des fictions comiques sur Apple dans plusieurs pays, dont l'Irlande et la France en 2022. Elles sont en train d'écrire la deuxième saison de RETREAT ainsi qu'une pièce de théâtre pour la scène et un roman graphique si tout se passe comme prévu.

Tzermiado Art Project – NatureNature - Tzermiado (Grèce) - 25/01/2023Greetings, This is a brand new project as of January 2023 We are currently Carsten (36 years old, USA/Germany) and Franciska (23 years old, Hungary) working here on a new farm, "Tzermiado Art Project" in an ideal and beautiful mountain settting (Lasithi Plateau, Crete). The idea is to blend artistic creation [painting, short story writing, music] with life on a farm [cultivation of herbs and vegetables, animal care] On the two plots of land (back garden, apple tree grove), the plan is to cultivate a wide range of vegetables and herbs, host in tents, have yoga sessions, paint, and take care of animals We are cultivating some medicinal and culinary herbs indoors and plan to cultivate a full-fledged medicinal herb garden in the Spring I'd very much like the place to be a center of learning, art, and exploration. I am interested in providing a place for holistic living, nutrition, meditation, yoga, making music, and being close to nature [and enjoy the local wine]. There are excellent mountains surrounding the plateau in a circle, with sites such as the cave of Zeus where in Greek Mythology he is said to have been born. Everyday we are here we can't get over how beautiful and magical the place is. The house has a fireplace. a wood-burning stove that has an oven in it, and a solar water heater. The neighbors all have chickens and goats and I would like to build some animal infrastructure to do the same, and grow a vegetable garden. The locals say it is extremely easy to grow organic vegetables, as the land is very fertile and no use of pesticides is required. I would like to adopt some cats and dogs from the animal shelter and care for them, practice canning harvested foods, and learn about artisanal crafts such as basket weaving and pottery with my guests by teaming up with the nearby ecovillage. I'd also like to create a campground to host some extra tents in the summer, and on the second plot of land, it is easy to open up the gates and host a few camping cars as well. so lots of dyi projects on hand so we can be a real community by summer Tzermiado is the capital village of the Lasithi plateau. It has quite a few restaurants, cafes, a supermarket, a post office, a hair salon, etc. It is 30 minutes from the beaches in Malia. I have a car and could pick up volunteers from the airport. I am an amateur writer especially interested in the short story genre. My favorite authors are Samantha Schweblin and Hebe Uhart, Borges, Onetti, Cortazar (in love with Argentinian opus). I write mainly in Spanish but also in English and French. I have a BA in French lit with a minor in Spanish, MA in English Studies, have an extensive knowledge of short story writing theory. I would love to welcome volunteers to do creative works, learn new things, and have an amazing experience in Crete blending art, languages, and agriculture. Florian (documentariste Audio, écrivain) – ÉcritureÉcriture - Sauverny (France) - 27/01/2023Bonjour, Je suis écrivain, journaliste et documentariste audio. Aussi je travaille dans un conservatoire de musique, danse et théâtre à Ferney-Voltaire. J'ai commencé par travailler dans le domaine de la protection de la nature, comme guide naturaliste et dans l'éducation à l'environnement, puis j'ai rédigé en mémoire en écologie humaine sur la poésie du voyage et de l'espace. Aujourd'hui je fais de la création audio et j'écris. Mes sujets de prédilections étant la poésie des lieux, des territoires, de la nature. En 2022 j'ai réalisé le documentaire "Des histoires de vrais lynx", 7 épisodes en baladodiffusion pour découvrir le Jura par une de ses espèces sauvages emblématiques, le tout mêlé à des contes du grand nord. En 2023, j'ai conçu avec une artiste illustratrice une performance appelée "Cinéma dessiné" en tournée dans le Jura. Aussi j'ai deux manuscrits en cours de rédaction.
