Located in a Natural Regional Park, Château de l'Isle Marie is a unique location steeped in history. First occupants were the Romans. Later the Vikings came and built a fortress. The foundations of the current castle goes back to the 12th century and other building 16th and 17th century including the Chapel designed by famous architect Mansart. The property is within our family since 12th century and after a very active life, the property has been put aside and damaged by the bombing of the second world war. Today we are trying to bring back the property to life, a place that becomes an island in winter when marshes are flooded.
